Sedona Red Rock Jeep Tours and The Sedona Dream Maker Bed and Breakfast
- Sedona Heritage Tour
-
Travel by jeep through the scenic and historic Dry Creek Basin, surrounded by seven majestic canyons. Following a short 4-wheel drive up the red rocks, guests arrive at the hand-hewn log cabin once occupied by early settler Earl Van Deren. These ruins stand as a reminder of Sedona's cowboy days and colorful past. Guides interpret the tales of murder and moonshine at the old cabin before continuing to one of many overlooks.
Next, travel to "Uptown" and Sedona's Heritage Museum in Jordan Historical Park for a picnic-style box lunch and beverage from Sedona's finest deli. Following lunch, a guided tour through the museum offers a look back to the lifestyles and works of the people who pioneered this community from 1870 to the 1950's. Over 75 movies were filmed in Sedona. Glance at the films where the greatest stars introduced Sedona to the world. At your leisure, stroll the grounds which were at one time apple and peach orchards. Existing fruit trees, gardens and surrounding red rock scenery will recall a memory of not so long ago Sedona.
